PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector housing whose housing efficiency is improved, with which recycling performance is enhanced and the yield of a product is enhanced by restraining the cost, and to provide a projector provided with the housing. SOLUTION: This projector housing 2 has a molten metal molded part 23, to which a device body is attached and sheet metal worked parts 22 and 21 formed by sheet metal working. Thus, an entire body is formed of a thin plate, and in the case of the same size, a housing area is made larger as compared with a housing made of a synthetic resin or the like, so that the housing efficiency is improved, and also the sheet metal worked part is used, so that the cost is reduced, as compared with the case in which the entire body is formed by die casting.
