PURPOSE: A mouthpiece and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to effectively protect parodontal tissue and the jaws, and to improve the wearing feeling of the mouthpiece. CONSTITUTION: The mouthpiece(10) consists of a U-shaped frame(12), and at least one iron cores(13) fixed to the frame to be caught at a desired position of teeth when a user wears the mouthpiece. The U-shaped frame comprises an outer cover(17) surrounding upper front teeth and teethridge of a user and formed with a notch portion to be fitted in frenulum, an inner cover(18) surrounding upper rear teeth, a recess(14) formed between the outer cover and the inner cover, and a mark portion formed at a portion to be engaged with lower teeth to have a shape corresponding to the shape of the lower teeth.
