PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade defective brazing between a flattened tube and a fin in a method for manufacturing a heat exchanger essentially composed of header pipes, flattened tubes and fins. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger is obtained by assembling a heat exchanger using the header pipes on the surface of which the layer of brazing fillar metal is formed, perforated flattened tubes formed of a bear material and the fins formed of the bear material, providing a groove in the flat part on the surface of the perforated flattened tube, making the molten brazing fillar metal on the surface of the header pipe flow in the groove on the surface of the tube to the joined part with the fin at brazing, forming fillets in the joined part between the flattened tube and the fin and joining the flattened tube with the fin. |
