PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film forming method by which a film having excellent waterproofness, adhesion and contamination resistance and can maintain beautiful appearance for a long period of time is formed without the occurrence of crazing, peeling, or the like, with lapse of time. SOLUTION: After a coating material (A) for forming the coating film of 50 to 800% in an elongation rate at a 20 deg.C atmosphere is applied, a coating material (B) essentially consisting of a synthetic resin emulsion having a reactive silyl group and a polysiloxane compound having a polyoxylalkylene chain having OH group at one terminal and having hydroxyl valence of 5 to 150 KOHmg/g as essential components is applied.
