<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less bulky cuff structure with which a cuff is easily attached to the upper arm of a user, and an electronic sphygmomanometer employing the same. SOLUTION: In the cuff structure and the electronic sphygmomanometer employing the same, when not being used, a cuff 5 is folded to be housed in a case 2, and when the case 2 is opened to use, the cuff 5 expands to be cylindrical. Blood pressure can be measured only by putting the arm through the cylindrical cuff 5. In this way, measurement can be prepared so that the apparatus is not bulky when it is not used, and the cuff is easily attached to the upper arm without requiring to warp around the arm when it is used.</p> |
