PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide manufacturing equipment for a can barrel and a manufacturing method therefor capable of manufacturing the can barrel requiring a large number of working times without lengthening the facilities. SOLUTION: The equipment is provided with a working mechanism 12, a feeding mechanism 13 feeding an unworked cylinder to the working mechanism, a refeeding mechanism 14 feeding again the worked cylinder by the working mechanism 12 to the working mechanism 12, and a carrying out mechanism 15 carrying out the cylinder finished with the final stage working from a carrying out mechanism 15. A working means D performing the holding and working of the cylinder provided on each stage, and a working means D different in the working stage corresponding to it are arranged on the working mechanism 12 in the peripheral direction, wherein a working turret K, carrying the working means D between a cylinder feeding position S and a delivery position T, and a distribution mechanism 16, distributing the cylinder fed from the feeding mechanism 13 and the refeeding mechanism 14 to the working means D corresponding to the next working stage respectively, are provided.
