PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the construction of a device as a whole and make the inertial weight of movable parts small. SOLUTION: A driving device for a feed bar of a transfer press is provided with a lift carrier 22 in which a feed bar 11 is connected so as to be movable in the front/rear direction and right/left direction, but to be restricted to move in the vertical direction, a crank carrier 71 in which the feed bar 11 is connected so as to be movable in the front/rear direction and vertical direction, but to be restricted to move in the right/left direction, a press frame 12 provided with a lift guide 25 guiding the movement of the lift carrier in the vertical direction and a clamp guide 34 guiding the movement of the clamp carrier 72 in the right/left direction respectively, a lift linear motor 53 moving the lift carrier 22 along the lift guide 25, and a clamp linear motor 73 moving the clamp carrier 72 along the clamp guide 34.
