PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container washing apparatus usable for different types of containers such as PET bottles or cans. SOLUTION: The container washing apparatus 1 successively holds transported containers 3 by a holding part 17 and washes the container 3 by jetting a washing solution to the insides of the containers through the opening parts of the containers. The holding part 17 comprises holding member 33a, 33b for holding the opening parts of the containers 3 and installation arms 21, 23 of the holding members 33a, 33b. The holding members 33a, 33b are attached to the installation arms 21, 23 in freely detachable manner and in the case of the washing containers 3 with different opening part shapes, the holding embers 34a, 34b are replaced with other holding members 34a, 34b with different shapes corresponding to those of the opening parts.
