PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for brazing a refrigerant introducing or deducing pipe of an accumulator or a receiver of an air conditioner in which the reliabil ity improvement in brazing strength and airtightness of the refrigerant introduc ing or deducing pipe are attained in the case that the refrigerant introducing or deducing pipe is brazed to the tank of the accumulator or the receiver. SOLUTION: A groove 9 for introducing brazing fillar metal is extended in the direction of a generatex of a pipe, whose inside end is opened in the tank 5 in the face of the pipe end of the refrigerant introducing or deducing pipe 2 whose outside end reaches beyond the opening part 8b on the outside end of the burring part 8 and which are terminated at the outer peripheral surface is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the same pipe 2, and the brazing is performed by introducing the molten brazing fillar metal 10' into the groove 9 for introducing the brazing fillar metal by capillary action and also infiltrating the brazing fillar metal 10' which is introduced with the groove 9 for introducing the brazing fillar metal onto the interface of a pipe tightly inserting part.
