PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cream solder printer capable of shortening a printing time for printing a cream solder on a land of a printed circuit board by shortening a plate releasing time (plate releasing distance) of a plate releasing operation, further improving a transfer quality to a printed circuit board, improving productivity of a mounting board and alleviating an operator's working load. SOLUTION: The cream solder printer comprises a board table 10 for supporting the printed circuit board 12, a superposing mechanism for aligning a metal mask 60 with the board 12 supported to the table 10 and superposing them, a squeegee unit 14 sliding on the mask 50 superposed on the board 12 to coat the cream solder on the board 12 via the mask 60, and a drive means for moving the unit 14 by press contacting the unit 14 with the mask 60. The printer also comprises a stopping mechanism for holding the unit 14 in a height position for press contacting the unit 4 with the mask 60 to stop the unit 14 in a state in which the unit 14 is moved in a one time coating range on the mask 60.
