PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a prismatic cylinder from being bent by the distortion caused by the welding. SOLUTION: When the prismatic cylinder 1 of hexagonal section is manufactured by welding a plurality of plate members, the distortion by each welding is canceled by welding a left plate member 12, a right plate member 13 and a bottom plate member 14 are welded at three positions of the left lower angle 15, the right lower angle 16 and the center upper angle 17 which are separated from each other at substantially equal distance on the periphery of the hexagon.
