PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod, hardly entangling with its fishing line at its top guide singly and also capable of easily removing the line even if it entangles with its tip end part, while preventing the reduction of fish bite-sensing property of tip end part of the fishing rod. SOLUTION: This fishing rod is equipped with a fixing part GK1 for inserting and fixing the tip end part of the top rod, a top guide G1 equipped with a holding part GH1 for holding a guide ring GR1, a fixing part GK2 mounted at the outer circumference of the rod 10 and a holding part GH2 for holding a guide ring GR2 and a second guide G2 in a position adjacent to the above top guide, and is constituted by setting approximately <=50 mm interval between the top guide and the second guide, and the length L1 of the tip end part of the top rod, which is inserted and fixed at the fixing part of the top guide, as less than the length L2 of the fixing part of the second guide.
