PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel hub and a method of manufacturing the same, having a good design of the appearance, having a designed surface hardly scratched or the like, and having high mounting strength to a wheel. SOLUTION: This wheel hub 1 has a two-layered structure having a designed part 11 at a front surface side 101 to cover the central flange 21 of the wheel 2, and a mounting part 12 provided with a mounting rib 121 engaged with a central flange 21 at a rear surface side 102. The designed part 11 has the Rockwell hardness of 85 or more by R scale, and the glossiness of 70 or more by gross at an incidence angel 60 deg.. The mounting part 12 has the thermal deformation temperature of 100 deg.C or more, and the creep strain of 0.5 mm or less, when left as it is under an environment of 100 deg.C for 1000 hours.
