PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently develop a tire suitable for a vehicle by a simulation method. SOLUTION: This simulation method for a vehicle tire performance includes a tire model step S1 for generating a tire model modeling the tire including a ply into a finite number of elements, a vehicle body model generation step S2 for generating a vehicle body model modeling a vehicle body including a suspension member into a finite number of elements, a vehicle model step S3 for generating a vehicle model by fitting the tire model to a suspension model modeled from the suspension member of the vehicle body model, and steps S4 and S5 for simulating vehicle travel characteristic or tire characteristics in a virtual travel of the vehicle model under the prescribed boundary conditions.
