PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle electronic apparatus as improvement from a conventional one of such a structure that a nose is accommodated in a case via an opening, involving such a problem that the operating member can not easily be manipulated because its protruding amount must be lessened for allowing the operating member protruding from the nose to pass through the opening. SOLUTION: When the nose 10 is located outside the case 1, the protruding amount of the operating member 11b is as large as L1. During the period the nose 10 turns from the vertical to a horizontal attitude, a retreating mechanism 40 is actuated by the relative motions of an attitude changeover arm 31 and the nose 10, and the protruding amount L1 of the operating member 11b is decreased to L2. Accordingly the operating member 11b will never collide with the edge, etc., of the opening 7 when the nose 10 in the horizontal attitude is to be accommodated in the case 1.
