PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for car helpful for enlarging the inner room space effectively and having excellent performance. SOLUTION: A seat unit 10 suspended from a guide rail 1 installed in a car inner roof can move back and forth along the guide rail 1 and be stored in the roof part. The seat unit 10 has a seat main body 12 suspended by way of an arm 11 connected rotably to the guide rail 1 and can slide along the arm 11. The seat main body 12 has a seat back 14 and a seat cushion 15 allowing mutual fold, and a frame of the seat back 14 is connected to the arm 11 to allow sliding along.
