PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a card recorder comprising at least second and third carrying passages crossing a first carrying passage at least at one intersection, and first and second processing sections provided, respectively, in the second and third carrying passages such that one of the first or second processing section prints information on a card and the other section overcoats the recording face of the card with a coat film, in which all elements including the first and second processing sections can be arranged rationally, the card can be carried effectively because the second and third carrying passages intersect the first carrying passage, and the card recorder can be made compact. SOLUTION: The card recorder comprises a first carrying passage p1 equipped with a card feeding section 10, a second carrying passage p2 intersecting the first carrying passage p1, a third carrying passage p3 intersecting the first carrying passage p1, at least one card reversing section 30 disposed at least at one intersection of the first carrying passage p1 and the second and third carrying passages p2 and p3, and first and second processing sections 50 and 60 provided, respectively, in the second and third carrying passages p2 and p3.
