PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum forming mold which can curtail a mold production time and is applicable to a mass production article by controlling the generation of cracks in a mold surface layer. SOLUTION: In the vacuum forming mold 10, the mold surface layer 12 is formed from a thermosetting resin, and by making the backup layer 15 of the mold surface layer 12 include steel balls 16, etc., air passages 18 are formed between the steel balls 16, etc. Small holes 14 communicating with the air passages 18 are formed in the mold surface layer 12, and evacuating holes 19 are formed by the small holes 14 and the air passages 18. The thermosetting resin of the mold surface layer 12 is a polyurea resin. |
