PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer resin film which prevents the generation of coating nonuniformity even when the surface of the film is coated with various functional layers in a transparent film for optical applications, a support film for photographic materials, etc., produced by a solution film-making method and a method for producing the film. SOLUTION: In the polymer film which is produced by the solution film- making method, the pitch a (cm) of periodic thickness nonuniformity in the longitudinal direction of a web and a thickness nonuniformity ratio d(%) meet formula (1) of d<=0.46a3-0.91a2+0.60a+1.01 (1) (wherein 0.2<a<3). |
