PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a checker for medical equipment planted in living body for ordinarily managing the operating state of planted medical equipment. SOLUTION: This checker is provided with a communication part 110 for applying instruction information instructing a change in the operating state of planted medical equipment or read of internal information stored in the planted medical equipment by percutaneous communication and for receiving the internal information, input/output part 140 for inputting/outputting the instruction information or internal information with general information processing equipment, storage part 120 for primarily saving the instruction information or internal information at least, control part 100 for controlling the entire device, incorporated energy source 180 for supplying power to the entire checker, single hand-held casing incorporating respective component and access switch 105 located on the surface of the casing and by operating the access switch, the instruction information is transmitted to planted medical equipment 190.
