摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope system in which balance adjustment of the output levels of a normal image signal and a fluorescent image signal can be made quickly at a time even when changing the model of an electronic endoscope. SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope system 1 alternately crosses a white light reflection section 22e and a fluorescent light emission section before the tip 10a of an electronic endoscope 10 inserted into an insertion hole 27 in synchronization with the emission of white light and ultraviolet light from the tip 10a of the electronic endoscope 10 after a first rotating shutter 22 having the white light reflecting section 22e reflecting white light at a prescribed reflectivity, first and second fluorescent light emission sections 22f and 22g emitting light with a prescribed intensity when excited by ultraviolet light is moved so that the insertion hole 27 may face an area including one of the fluorescent light emission sections. An image signal processing circuit 32 sets an amplification factor from an image signal generated, when reflected light and fluorescent light from the white light reflection section 22e and the fluorescent light emission sections 22f and 22g are received, and amplifies each of the image signals at the amplification factor.
