PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accuracy measuring device for a machine tool capable of directly measuring the accuracy of a machine tool. SOLUTION: In this accuracy measuring device 10 for a machine tool, a work installing base for fixing work can relatively tilt to a cutting tool attached to a spindle. The accuracy measuring device 10 is provided with a measuring block 11 installed to the work installing base through a base member 15 and capable of moving on a plane, sensor mechanisms 12, 13 measuring the moving distance on the plane of the measuring block 11, and a coupling mechanism 14 coupled to the measuring block 11 so as to freely oscillate at a tip portion and fixed on an installing portion of the cutting tool of the machine tool to be measured at a base portion. When the machine tool is tilted, moving tracks of the measuring block 11 is measured by the sensor mechanisms 12, 13.
