PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert for producing a light metal-made wheel for many kinds and small amount of vehicles having a peculiar design based on the liking of a customer apt to be a high cost, at a low cost for a short time. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing the insert for cast wheel for forming the peculiar design part making the peculiar design on a disk design part in the cast wheel, a peculiar design original plate provided with the same shape as the peculiar design part, is manufactured and this insert is manufactured by transcribing from the peculiar design shape of the peculiar design original plate.
