PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide microorganisms having antagonistic actions against Fusarium fungi which are soil pathogenic fungi, to provide a method for controlling cucumber Fusarium wilt with the microorganisms, and to provide a method for culturing the microorganisms in large amounts. SOLUTION: Aspergillus terreus having an antagonistic action against Fusarium fungi which are soil pathogenic fungi, and a Penicillium fungus having an antagonistic action against the Fusarium fungi which are the soil pathogenic fungi. The method for controlling cucumber Fusarium wilt, comprising separating the Aspergillus terreus or Penicillium fungus from soil, culturing the separated Aspergillus terreus or Penicillium fungus, and then applying the cultured Aspergillus terreus or Penicillium fungus to the rhizospheres of cucumber or soil to expel the pathogenic fungi or control the disease. The method for culturing the microorganisms in large amounts, characterized by culturing the culture cells of the microorganisms in a grain residue such as bran or rice bran.
