PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately carry out an automatic selection and operation of line drawing markers in a sulky rice transplanter in which a seedling planting apparatus liftably connected to the rear part of a traveling machine body is equipped with a pair of right and left line drawing markers for forming a machine body traveling standard line of a next process so as to freely move markers backward and forward. SOLUTION: This sulky rice transplanter is equipped with an automatic lifting means for automatically lifting the seedling planting apparatus in linking to steering of front wheels 1 by a set angle or more and with an automatic marker means for automatically selecting a projection operation of the line drawing markers 91a and 91b at the opposite side in the front wheel steering direction in linking to steering of the front wheels 1 by a set angle or more and is made so that operations of the automatic lifting means and the automatic marker means are stopped based on based on the detected result of clutch disengaging operation of any of levee-side clutch levers 74.
