PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable structure of an electronic endoscope capable of thinning a heat shrinkage tube after heat shrinking by forming a V-shaped groove on the outer peripheral surface of the end of a protective tube covered with the shrinkage tube in the cable structure in which the protective tube of a multi-core cable arranged in the endoscope is fixed by heat shrinking the shrinkage tube. SOLUTION: The heat shrinkage tube 60 is covered so as to coat the protective tube 54. Thereafter, the tube 60 is heat shrunk to fix core wires 50 by the tube 54. The V-shaped groove 64 is cut out and formed on the outer peripheral surface of the tube 54. Since the groove 64 is closed when the tube 60 is heat shrunk, the outer diameter of the tube 60 after the heat shrink becomes smaller than the outer diameter of the tube 60 before the heat shrinkage.
