PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider capable of easily closing a linear zipper chain without causing any chain cracks even when a transverse load is applied to the chain when closing the chain by the slider. SOLUTION: An element holding surface 14 abutted on an inversion part 25 of a linear zipper element 20 and placed thereon is provided along an inner surface of a flange 12 formed on both sides of either an upper wing plate 2 or a lower wing plate 3 of the slider, the holding surface 14 is formed on an inclined surface intersected with inner surfaces of the wing plates 2 and 3 between a front end and a bent part of the flange 12, an erected wall surface 13 erected from the wing plates 2 and 3 is provided between the bent part 18 to a rear port 17, and the holding surface 14 is formed on the upper side of the wall surface 13 to guide the inversion part 25. Even transverse load is applied to the zipper chain when closing the chain, the inversion part 25 slides on the inclined surface 15, and guides the chain to prevent any chain cracks. |
