PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce in size an image forming apparatus, to form a more simple constitution at low cost by further reducing a number of components and to more stably write an electrostatic latent image. SOLUTION: The writing electrode 3b of a writing unit 3 and the uniform charging control electrode 7e of a latent image carrier uniform charging controller 7 are supported to a flexible base 3a having soft elasticity. The electrostatic latent image is written on the latent image carrier 2 by charging or discharging by the electrode 3b on the carrier 2 set to a uniform charging state by the uniform charging control electrode 7e. This latent image is developed by a developing unit 4, and its developer image is transferred to a transfer material 5 such as paper or the like by a transfer unit 6. Since the electrode 3b and the uniform charging control electrode 7e are integrally provided with the flexible base 3a, the apparatus is reduced in size and simplified. |
