PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for forming a transparent container, formed by bonding a metal foil to a transparent plastic sheet and constituted so that the metal foil is hard to receive damage and free high-degree design effect can be imparted. SOLUTION: A hue layer 3 is laminated on the rear surface 2a of the transparent plastic sheet 2 and a punched pattern part 4 having a desired pattern is provided in the hue layer 3 and a metal foil transfer film 5 is superposed on the hue layer 3 and the whole is heated and pressed by a transfer die 50 to transfer a metal foil 6 to the hue layer 3 to form the sheet 1 for forming the transparent container. The damage of the metal foil layer 2 can be reduced by laminating the metal foil 6 to the inside surface of the container. When the sheet 1 is looked from its surface side, the punched pattern part 4 is used as a window part to make it possible to visually confirm the color of the metal foil 6 and free high-degree design effect can be imparted to the surface of the sheet.
