摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a drill of high durability capable of drilling ceramic products such as tiles, and other articles of high hardness. SOLUTION: This drill is manufactured by cutting a groove on a tip of a drill body in the diameter direction passing a center, and bonding a chip into the groove. The chip 3 bonded to the drill body is a chip obtained by cutting a sintered plate of high hardness having a sintered body layer 5 of high hardness on one face of a plate-shaped base material 6. The chip 3 is composed of two divided chips 3a, 3b obtained by dividing the chip shape into two, and mounted to position the sintered body layer 5 of high hardness in the front in the rotating direction, and a cutting blade 7 is formed by the sintered body of high hardness. The two divided chips are obtained by cutting the chip at a position deviated from a center, so that their butt faces are not located at a center of the rotation.
