PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc welding helmet for protecting eyes from the strong light of an arc generated by arc welding, which does not need to be gripped by the left hand and can be held together with an electrode holder by the right hand. SOLUTION: A glass pane 4 for shielding the light is attached to the frame body 3 of the helmet 1 which is provided with a grip 2. The grip part 2 has a circular-arcuate cross section and can be held together with the holding part 15 of the electrode holder 14.
