PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen writing medium for error correction to be mounted on a knocking-type writing utensil. SOLUTION: The ball-point pen writing medium 5 is filled with a white pigment ink blended in such a way that pigment settling is prevented from occurring and the impairing of the ink fluidity is minimized, with titanium oxide and a gelatinizer contained in an ink storage tube 12. In this writing medium 5, the tip 6 of the writing medium 5 has a tip ball 7 on the forward end and a receiving member 8 which comes into contact with the back of the tip ball 7 directly or through an idle member and further, has a valvular mechanism which enables closing of an ink conducting hole with the tip 6 facing upward, integrally provided in the axial center of the receiving member 8. In addition, a spring 11 is laid on the back of the receiving member 8 and presses the tip ball 7 into close contact with the inner edge of the ball embracing part 6a of the tip 6. Thus the receiving member 8 is allowed to freely move backward in an interlocking action with the tip ball 7 due to its pressing by a writing operation. In the forward section of the described constitution, the tip 6 of the ball-point pen is provided and the ink storage tube 12 is provided in the rear section. |
