PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance by making a shelf portion visible from the front and rear and increase the total strength of the shelf portion by increasing the strength of a water receptacle formed at the bottom of the shelf portion. SOLUTION: The shelf portion 2 of a dish dryer A is comprised of right and left shelf side plates 81 and 81, a top board 16, a water receptacle 26 arranged at the bottom and a rear net 54 formed of a wire. The water receptacle 26 is made up of a tray 80 and a bottom plate 83 forming an exhaust duct 82 opposite to the tray 80. Standup pieces 84 are raised from the periphery of the bottom plate 83. Aluminum frames 85 are provided along the connection part between the tray 80 and the standup pieces 84. Pressing ribs 86 of a nearly reverse U-shape are extended from the outside edges of the tops of the aluminum frames 85. The upper ends of the standup pieces 84 are supported by the pressing ribs 86.
