PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable toilet which can prevent the odor in an excrement storage tank from leaking out. SOLUTION: The excrement storage tank 2 made of a synthetic resin is hung from the upper surface opening 11 of a toilet body 1 wherein a toilet seat 3 and an upper lid 4 are vertically turnably attached to the upper surface. Then, in the synthetic resin which constitutes the excrement storage tank 2, a sterilizing agent and/or a deodorizer are contained.
