PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for fishing, capable of displaying measured value of yarn length and clocking contents of time in good visibility and slight electric power consumption without causing confusion in a small space. SOLUTION: The present invention provides a detection means 30 for detecting rotation state of a spool and a display-changing over means 36 for changing over measured result by yarn length measuring means 34 and measured result by the time-measuring means 32 based on detection data from the detection means 30 to a displaying part 25a and displaying the results, in a reel for fishing equipped with a yarn length-measuring means 34 for measuring reed out of fishline wound around a spool supported by a reel body and wound yarn length value, a time-measuring means 32 for measuring elapsed time in a prescribed state in actual fishing and at least one displaying part 25a for displaying measured result by the yarn length-measuring means 34 or the time- measuring means 32.
