PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labors, when an Arctium Lappa, yam, or the like is harvested. SOLUTION: The crop such as the yam is harvested by using a mark body 4 comprising a rope and exposed on the ground, digging the ground down to about one-third of the container main body 1 with a cultivator or the like carefully so that container main body 1 and the yam or the like grown in the container main body 1 are not damaged, forward, backward and laterally swinging a handle 2 disposed on the pulling side end portion of the container main body 1 or rotating the container main body 1, and then pulling out the container main body 1. In addition, a V-shaped notch 6 is formed in the insertion direction tip portion of the container main body 1, and after the yam or the like grown in the container main body 1 is harvested, the back side portion 7 of the container main body 1 is beat with a beating bar or the like twice or three times to separate soil adhered to the inside of the container main body 1. The separated soil is dropped from the front side opening of the container main body through the notch 6 to the backside. Thus, the soil in the container main body 1 can easily be removed.
