PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adhesion of a washing liquid to a connector pin generated when a waterproof cap is detached, by constituting the waterproof cap, attached to the connector of an endoscope in a freely detachable manner, as a double cylinder structure consisting of an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder of which the end part is closed and forming the locking part, which is locked with the outer peripheral part of the shell part on the side of connector in a freely detachable manner, to the outer cylinder and forming a drain hole between the outer and inner cylinders. SOLUTION: When an electronic endoscope 10 is washed, the washing liquid flowing in the gap 82, formed between the shell 62 of the electric connector 32 and the outer cylinder 52 of the waterproof cap 50, does not penetrate toward the connector pin 32A provided inside the shell 62 because the inner cylinder 54 of the waterproof cap 50 and the shell 62 are sealed by an O-ring 72. The washing liquid is drained to the outside of the waterproof cap 50 through the drain holes 80, etc., formed between the outer and inner cylinders 52 and 54.
