PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heart beat signal detecting instrument for detecting heart rate of a driver under driving a vehicle which is capable of detecting the heart rate when the driver is in an abnormal state by providing an exclusive differential amplifier corresponding to all combinations of any of two signals from a plurality of electrodes. SOLUTION: Differential amplifiers 5AB to 5CD are provided in a heart beat signal processing section 3 corresponding to all the combinations of any of two electrodes. Thus, when the driver touches any of two electrodes, output for detecting the heart beat can always be obtained from any differential amplifier, and a problem of inability to detect heart beat rate can be solved. |
