<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the grip portions of a computer game controller movable according to the contents of a game. SOLUTION: The controller 1 is provided with the separate grip portions 5 and 5 on the right and left sides of a housing 2. The grip portion 5 is provided with a rotating shaft 7 with a driven gear 6 fixed thereto, and the rotating shaft 7 is pivotably attached to the housing 2. A stepping motor 8 mounted within the housing 2 is connected to the driven gear 6 by a speed reduction mechanism and is controlled according to a game program to rotate the driven gear 6 in either normal or reverse direction to cause oscillation of the grip portion 5.</p> |
