PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reconciling high-speed durability and steering stability by preventing a decrease of the lateral force at both end sections in the tire width direction of a belt layer. SOLUTION: A first belt 27R and a second belt 27L are provided apart from each other in the tire width direction in this tire 10. The length from the center position in the tire width direction to the end section of a folding section become shorter than the length from the tire equator line of the conventional tire to the end section of a folding section where the belt is folded in the tire radial direction, and the shrinkage quantity in the tire width direction is reduced. The shearing force toward the outside in the tire width direction is reduced in the tire 10, and a decrease of the lateral force applied to the inside of the tire width direction can be prevented, thereby the improved steering stability and high-speed durability can be reconciled.
