PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool for composite machining, capable of executing the machining with high accuracy in the parallelism between an axis of a machined hole formed by line boring a work piece and a machined plane, and the circularity and the concentricity of the machined hole. SOLUTION: This machine tool 1 for composite machining for the line boring of a hole part of the work piece 4, and the flattening of a machined plane in parallel with the axis CL1 of the hole part, comprises a line boring bar supporting device 7 for rotatably supporting one end 8 of a line bar 2 for line boring the hole part, on a first spindle head 10, and rotatably supporting the other end 11 of the line bar by a bar support 12, a table 13 for loading the work piece, movable in the X-axis direction in parallel with the axial direction of the line bar, and a second spindle head 14 for rotatably supporting a spindle 15 having an axis CL3 in the X-axis direction and movable in the orthogonal triaxial direction. The line boring of the hole part by the line bar and the flattening of the machine plane by the tool 3 mounted on the spindle 15 are executed by the movement of the X-axis direction of the table.
