PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of joining metal plates together, with one process without utilizing other member in one device. SOLUTION: In the device wherein respective metal plates 10 superimposed with a shearing blade 31 provided on a shearing folding member 30 leaving a part of the metal plate 10 are cut simultaneously to make a metal tongue whose one part is joined together, the metal tongue is folded to join together the superimposed metal plates 10, an approximately arc-shaped projecting part or recessed part 21a is formed on a support member 20 supporting the shearing folding member 30 as a means for rotating a folding face 32 in folding the metal tongue, so that the shearing folding member 30 is made to fit and rotate slidably.
