PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the applying work of an adhesive to the surface of a base body and to avoid the deterioration of workability in this applying work. SOLUTION: This adhesive applying device 1 is used for applying the adhesive 4 for adhering the surface sheet 3 of an artificial lawn, or the like to the surface of a nearly flat base body. The device 1 is provided with a truck 10 movable on the surface 2, a handle 14 supported by this truck 10 to be handled by an operator, a storage tank 19 supported by the truck 10 to store the adhesive 4, nozzles 20 which are arranged plurally side by side in the width direction of the truck 10 and supported by this truck 10 to introduce the pressurized adhesive 4 and to eject this adhesive 4, a pump 22 supported by the truck 10 to pressurize the adhesive to introduce it respectively into the respective nozzles 20 through a guiding passage 21, and a driving means 23 for driving this pump 22.
