PURPOSE: A receiving method of a mobile communication system is provided to remove a ring sound according to user selection, to minimize a cellular phone noise, and to transmit a location of a current terminal to other terminal located in a predetermined area by a text message, when the current terminal enters the predetermined area, so as to recognize the location of the current terminal in real time. CONSTITUTION: A base station receiving a caller ID and a receiving call transmits the caller ID and the receiving call to a called terminal(301). A receiving sound generator receiving the receiving call makes a user audio-visually recognize the receiving call by vibrating or turning on/off a lamp(303). A controller receiving the caller ID provides the caller ID to a display window. The display window displays the caller ID(305). The controller confirms the displayed caller ID(307), and decides whether a predetermined key is inputted to remove a receiving sound(309). If so, the controller generates a control signal to remove the receiving sound. The receiving sound generator removes the receiving sound(311). The controller checks whether a speech key is inputted(313). If so, the controller provides a call signal to a call processor. The call processor processes the call signal(315). If the speech key is not inputted, the controller converts to a voice mail system to induce a caller to leave a message(317), and completes the procedure.
