PURPOSE: A defrosting device for evaporator is provided to improve defrosting efficiency and to simplify structure thereof by installing a parabolic reflector under a linear radiant heater. CONSTITUTION: A defrosting device includes a linear radiant heater(51); and a reflector. The linear radiant heater is horizontally installed under a heat exchanger to radiate radiant heat. The reflector is installed under the linear radiant heater to reflect the radiant heat radiated from the linear radiant heater to the heat exchanger. A reflecting surface of the reflector is parabolic. The linear radiant heater is placed on a focus of the parabola formed by the reflecting surface of the reflector. A defrosted water outlet(55) is formed on the reflector to discharge defrosted water dropping from the heat exchanger.
