PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved rotary excavation type ground boring device capable of reducing the generation of noise. SOLUTION: A ground boring device 3 is provided in a fixed frame 2 of a boring machine 1, and a traveling frame 6 is provided in the fixed frame 2 freely to move back and forth. This traveling frame 6 is provided with a tool support member 21 for supporting a boring tool 11 for moving back and forth in the ground, a rotary driving device 4 for rotating this tool support member 21, an exciting device 5 for giving the axial directional exciting force as a reciprocating force to the tool support member 21, and connecting means 47 and 48 for connecting a rear end of the tool support member to one end of the exciting device freely to be rotated. Vibration control bodies 62 and 68 to be deformed freely to be bent are provided between the traveling frame 6 and the exciting device 5.
