PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an electric resistance value to judge a capture amount of a particulate substance deposited in a filter with no influence by an engine operating condition, in this diesel particulate filter device. SOLUTION: A jamming detector 45 detects a capture amount of a particulate substance in a filter 3, 4 by detecting an electric resistance value between two points placed distant in the filter 3, 4 changed by a deposited amount of the particulate substance in the filter 3, 4. That is, the detector 45 is constituted by a resistance detector comprising a comparator 41 and a bridge circuit 42 detecting the electric resistance value between a first electrode 43 provided in a heat resistant metal wire constituting a catalytic layer 34 arranged in the filter 3, 4 and a second electrode 44 provided in a heat resistant metal wire of a wire net 36 arranged in the downstream of an exhaust gas flow of the filter 3, 4. |
