<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compact and lighten the external form of a clamp type split transformer adopted in an electric leak spot survey device or the like, and to thereby improve handleability thereof. SOLUTION: Half-circular clamp cases 32, 32a are installed rotatably on a grip part 30 of this clamp type split transformer 3. The clamp cases 32, 32a are energized in the closing direction by a coil spring 34. Half-circular storage parts 33 having openings on both ends are formed inside the clamp cases 32, 32a. Cores 35 are stored in the storage parts 33. The cores 35 have a half- circular shape, and reinforcing members 350 are installed on both sides. A winding 36 is provided on the cores 35. The cores 35 are energized in the confronting direction by press springs 37, and are rockable in the storage parts 33. When the clamp cases 32, 32a are opened, both tip parts of the cores 35 are projected from the respective both tip parts of the clamp cases 32, 32a.</p> |
