PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the voltage increase of a capacitor while reducing the distortion of input current waveform in a switching power supply device used for various electronic equipment, inputting alternating current voltage and supplying stabilized direct current voltage to load. SOLUTION: A first transformer 8, a second transformer 9 and a switching means 10 connected from a full-wave rectifier circuit 2 through a choke coil 4 and a first diode 5 to a capacitor 7 and connecting each primary winding to the capacitor 7 in series are connected, first and second rectifier diodes 11, 12 rectifying alternating current voltage generated in the secondary windings 82, 92 of each transformer and an output capacitor 13 filtering their outputs and supplying direct current voltage to the load 14 are provided, and the voltage of the capacitor 7 is suppressed low while suppressing the distortion of the input current waveform by being connected from the choke coil 4 through the second diode 6 to the connection point of the primary windings 81, 91 of each transformer.
