PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter-receiver suppressed consumption power by dissolving the defects that the kinds of ICs and LSIs used and the consumption power are increased, high heat is generated and an adverse effect is exerted on an LD and the like by the speedup of a signal within the optical transmitter-receiver and an increase in the function of the signal. SOLUTION: An optical transmitter-receiver is constituted in a structure that heat generated in an optical transmission part and an optical reception part is transmitted to a thermoelectric power generating element 21 via a heat sink 8, and power is generated in the element 21 by the difference between the temperature of the element 21 and an outside-air temperature. This power is utilized to cool the heat sink 8 by a cooling element 22 and is utilized to drive an IC 5, an LSI 6 and the like on a circuit board 7. As a result, the optical transmitter-receiver can suppress consumption power. |
